I have a bourgeoning architecture practice that has my focus split in every direction imaginable. Delegating tasks to a reliable collaborator is very important in these early years, which is why I'm writing this endorsement. In 2011, I bought a domain name and spent a considerable amount of time trying to set-up a very simple website to showcase the firm's work. After weeks of effort, I was able to get the simple website to kind of work. It was frustrating work and the result was embarrassing. TOMOTECHI FIXED EVERYTHING! My website, email, contacts, calendars… Samantha was even capable of producing a custom website that was tailored to my exact specifications. They are also very friendly and responsive to my problems. I hear that tech services are notoriously bad at customer service (I have never used another tech service, so I don't know for sure), but the guys at Tomotechi usually reply to me the same day.
And to really drive it home for Samantha… The custom website she built for me was based on a Wordpress theme. Computer people seem to understand Wordpress, but I couldn't. This is a problem because updating my website with almost anything meant emailing Samantha for help. She never seemed to be bothered, but one day suggested I transition to a more user friendly web CMS (ExpressionEngine). This was a more expensive option, but she assured me it would make everything easier and I would be able to use it without much assistance. I said sure and she worked hard to custom fit my site. When it was finished, it worked beautifully! Without Samantha, her knowledge, expertise, and patience, I have know idea where my website would be. For all of this, I plan on working with Tomotechi for as long as they'll have my business and highly recommend this company.

Architects and designers building their own practices need someone who can carry the technology side without taking attention away from the actual work. The right CMS is the one the client can actually use after handoff — not the one that won the engineering debate.
